Sending Work Updates via WhatsApp

Learn how to submit work updates through WhatsApp.

Quick Method

Simply send a message describing what you did:

• "Cleaned the lobby"
• "Completed maintenance on Unit 5"
• "Inspected fire extinguishers"

With Photos

1. Take a photo of your work
2. Send the photo to Laksana WhatsApp
3. Optionally add a caption describing the work
4. The system will automatically classify it using AI Vision

AI Vision: Photos without captions are automatically analyzed by AI to determine if it's a Work Update or Problem. The AI also extracts the location, thing, and category from the image content.

Structured Format

For better organization, include:

• What: What work was done
• Where: Location/item
• When: Time (optional, defaults to now)
• Photos: Evidence

Example: "Cleaned lobby at Block A, 3pm today" [Attach photo]

AI Classification

The AI bot will automatically:

• Detect it's a work update
• Extract location and item
• Categorize the work
• Create the record
• Send confirmation

Photo Burst Consolidation

If you send multiple photos in quick succession, they will be consolidated into a single record automatically. This uses your organization's Photo Burst Window (default: 5 seconds, configurable).

How it works:

1. The system waits for the burst window to collect photos from the same sender
2. If any photo has a caption, that caption is used for classification
3. If no caption is provided, AI Vision analyzes the photos to determine the intent
4. All photos are attached to a single Work Update or Problem record
5. You receive one acknowledgment with a link to the record

Confirmation

You'll receive a confirmation message with:

• Work update ID
• Location and item
• Category
• Link to view details
