6.7 Link Work Update to Issue

Overview

A work update can be linked to an issue when it is related to issue resolution or follow-up work.

Steps

1. Go to Operations.

1. Open Work Updates.

1. Find the work update.

1. Open the action menu.

1. Click Linked Issue.
   

1. Select the related issue.
   
   
   

1. Save the link.

Example use case

A technician submits a work update after repairing a faulty pump. The supervisor links the work update to the original pump issue for traceability.
