Creating Work Updates

Work updates help you record completed tasks clearly and share proof with your team or clients.

What are Work Updates?

Work updates are records of completed tasks, maintenance, cleaning, inspections, and other routine work.

Creating Work Updates

From Dashboard

  1. Go to Operations > Work Updates
  2. Click "New Work Update"
  3. Fill in details:
    • Site
    • Item/Asset
    • Category
    • Description
    • Date and time
  4. Upload evidence photos
  5. Click "Submit"

Via WhatsApp

Simply send a message: "Cleaned lobby at Block A" [Attach photo]

Via API

Use the Laksana API when another system needs to create work updates for you.

Best Practices

  • Be specific: Include the site and item
  • Add photos: Evidence helps people trust the update
  • Submit promptly: Fresh updates are easier to review
  • Use the right category: It helps with reporting and follow-up

Evidence Requirements

Some organizations ask for:

  • Minimum number of photos
  • Before/after photos
  • Specific angles or views

Viewing Work Updates

  • Dashboard: Operations > Work Updates
  • Reports: Include work updates
  • WhatsApp: Request reports via bot
  • Public Links: Share specific updates

Editing Work Updates

  • Edit within 24 hours of creation
  • Add/remove photos
  • Update description
  • Change category
