Your Scenario

You run a restaurant, café, or food business. You need to maintain kitchen hygiene for health inspections, track equipment maintenance (chillers, ovens, exhaust hoods), manage daily cleaning routines, and keep records for health authority audits.

Step 1: Create Org

Select your organisation type + set industry. Laksana automatically creates: Kitchen & Dining Area as Things, Kitchen Cleaning category, Kitchen Equipment problem category, Kitchen Food Safety daily checklist, Monthly Deep Cleaning checklist. You're already halfway set up!

Step 2: Set Up Your Outlet

Rename "HQ" to your restaurant name (e.g., "Restoran Nasi Kandar Pelita - SS2"). For chains: add each outlet as a separate Location.

Step 3: Add Kitchen Equipment

Add your actual equipment as Things (type: asset): Walk-in Chiller, Display Chiller, Oven, Deep Fryer, Exhaust Hood, Ice Machine, Dishwasher, Grease Trap. QR code the critical equipment so staff can scan and log maintenance.

Step 4: Customise Your Categories

Build on the auto-created ones. Work: Kitchen Cleaning, Front-of-House Cleaning, Equipment Cleaning, Prep Area Sanitisation, Waste Disposal. Problem: Kitchen Equipment Breakdown, Pest Sighting, Temperature Excursion, Health & Safety Issue.

Step 5: Food Safety Compliance

The system already created "Kitchen Food Safety" (daily) and "Monthly Deep Cleaning" templates. Customise checklist items to match your SOP: Fridge temperature log, Food label & expiry check, Surface sanitisation, Handwash station stocked, Pest trap inspection. Activate them and assign responsible staff.

Step 6: Daily Kitchen Workflow

Opening crew sends photos of clean kitchen via WhatsApp → watermarked and logged. They can also report equipment breakdowns easily.
